The newly built Waxahachie Senior Center was completed in the spring of 2009. The center was opened and dedicated on May 7, 2009. The building is a 20,000 square foot facility providing a wide array of activities for our senior residents. The activities include games, cards, fitness classes, exercise equipment, billiards, sewing, crafts, dances, computer classes, library, ceramics and much more.

The age requirement for membership is a minimum of 50 years old. Spouses of individuals age 50 or older are also eligible for membership. Annual dues are $10 per year for those living in Waxahachie, and $15 for those who reside outside of the city limits. The Waxahachie Senior Center is located at 122 Park Hills Drive (Hwy 77 South), and may be reached at 972-937-8271. The Center is open weekdays from 8:00AM - 4:00 PM.
Lunch is served daily at 11:30. reservations for lunch are requested 48hrs in advance and can be made by calling 972-937-8271.

The billiard, game, computer lab and fully equipped exercise room are open and available every day.
