The Waxahachie Sports Complex hosts hundreds of softball, baseball, soccer and football games each year, with nearly 4,000 participants on an annual basis. The current facility includes10 unlighted soccer fields, 3 lighted soccer fields, 6 lighted softball fields, 1 adult lighted baseball field, 1 lighted football field and 1 playground. Construction is currently underway on Phase 2 of the facility and will also include 4 lighted youth baseball fields, 2 additional concessions / restroom facilities, 1 additional playground, and a hike/bike trail. This phase is scheduled to be completed in January 2010.
